During the strides the shoe provided my foot with plenty of cushioning, but still felt fast.The Nike Zoom Fly 5 has a thick midsole made from SR02 and ZoomX foam with a plate imbedded into the midsole. As someone who runs with a mid-foot strike, I appreciate the fact that I can now experience the benefits of the Zoom Air. The added Zoom Air in the forefoot was noticeable the first time my toes pushed off the ground. I didn’t have to adjust my shoe over and over again to get the right fit. Right out of the box these shoes felt great. Flywire technology surrounds the midfoot and arch for an adaptive fit while the Fitsole sockliner conforms to the shape of your foot to provide comfort and underfoot support.The rubber on the outsole is segmented which allows for more flexibility.This addition makes the shoe feel quicker than ever.
